Since before Low VA Rates was officially its own company, we have been organizing an annual golf tournament to raise money for veterans and their families.
The first year of the tournament, we donated $5,500 dollars to the National Advocates for Military Families (NAMF), a nonprofit military organization that supports the families of deployed servicemembers.
After we created our Donor-Advised Fund in 2015, we began putting 100% of the proceeds from the tournament into this fund. Doing so gave us greater control to make sure the charities we donate to are transparent and use the majority of their money to truly help veterans, rather than pocketing a portion.
.During our 2019 golf tournament, we were able to raise $10,280, which is more than we've ever made. Such a successful year wouldn't have been possible without all of those who participated or contributed, including our generous sponsors:
